1940s Gladding McBean California pottery water jug pitcher in the company's unique glossy turquoise glaze. Art Deco handle . Marked "GMcB" with a mark used by Gladding McBean from 1940 through 1947.
Mid-Century GMcB Gladding McBean Ceramic Pitcher Turquoise Aqua Blue Vintage Gladding, McBean Pottery Cyan Jug Circa 1950's Measures approx.: 6.75"L x "W x 7.25"H x 6" dia. Manufacturer: Gladding McBean Pottery Tiffany blue glazed ceramic pitcher. Made in U.S.A. This functional pitcher or water carafe can also be used as a vase. Server or ewer has three pontil marks on the bottom and a hallmark backstamp: “GMB” in the center of an oval. Gladding McBean is the same company that made Franciscan dinnerware. Good vintage condition. Free from cracks, chips, scratches, repairs and crazing. Exception: Please note small white spots on handle. These aren't sharp so I feel they aren't chips, may be a manufacture defect, but I'm no glass chip expert
