The lettering on the spine is somewhat faded. There are a few small very light spots on the covers. The inside is very clean and the binding is tight. Overall the Book is in Very Good plus condition. The Slipcase has some rubbing, scuffs, and scratches. Overall it is also in Very good condition. A chance to own a very nice copy of an scarce limited edition of a highly sought after scrimshaw reference. The book is widely considered the foremost reference of scrimshaw and whaling artistry.
