A beautiful antique German silver chainmail purse. It is a clasp purse. The intials E.M.N. are etched inside as seen in pictures. On the opposite side, it's stamped G silver. There are two flowers etched in the German silver on five areas of each side of the purse at the top. This piece looks amazing to me. It's tarnished and used but in good condition. I don't see any flaws in the chainmail, but I'm not an expert. Weighs 8.2 ounces. Note: German silver is made of copper, zinc, and Nickle. It does not contain silver. These purses were made as early as 1870s to 1930s. I'm not sure the era for this purse.
