Antique Silver Phoenix/Floral WW2 SmokingSet, 1944 Makers Mark Japan Silver

Antique silver smoking tray with fluid fuel lighter with engraved silver case, ashtray with removable top, two piece storage container with rounded bottom which all comes in the original bright red packaging.
Makers mark stamped on the underside of the ashtray suggests Japanese silver artist circa 1942-1944, WWII, likely purchased in Japan during deployment and brought back to the U.S. as a souvenir or gift. Over the course of approximately 80 years this set has traveled across the ocean in a soldiers luggage, evidence of use shows that it was thoroughly enjoyed by the recipient of the souvenir, and when it was done being enjoyed it was returned to its original packaging and stored in a box of forgotten do-dahs and thingy ma-jigs at the back of some storage unit until I happened to come across it by chance.
This set is a thought provoking conversation starter in great shape considering it’s use and age. Some wear from heat, general use, clean
