For auction: Armstrong-Blum Marvel #5 Rod Shear, made in Chicago, USA. This vintage metal wire cutter/parter is designed for heavy-duty cutting of rods or wire from 1/8” through 1” diameter with side holes for different sizes. Operates with a sturdy lever arm for added force.
Measures about 7.5" long, 3" wide, and 19" tall including the lever. One nut is not fully tightened and may be a little stuck—could likely be freed with some heat or penetrating oil. The mechanism moves freely with a handle for leverage. Blade condition is unknown, as the nut could not be removed for inspection.
