Offered for sale is a vintage special edition collector’s bottle from McCormick Distilling Co. of Bat Masterson in original box. It is one of twelve (12) special edition bourbon whiskey bottles depicting outlaws. It was released by McCormick, America's oldest operating distillery, between 1968 & 1987.
This vintage decanter is hand painted Americana Porcelain. It is empty now but originally contained 4/5-quart straight bourbon whiskey. Historic portraits and paintings were used to create a very accurate sculpture for the bottle. The gold sticker on the back says, “McCormick Straight Bourbon Whiskey 86 proof Limited Edition 4/5 quart Distilled and Bottled by McCormick Distilling Co. Weston, Mo.”
In great condition – no cracks or chips. There is still a piece of the original red tax paper on the back. It is empty, containing no contents. It stands 14" high, 3-3/4" wide, and 2-7/8" deep.
