Chief CMS-009 9" Speed-Connect Fixed Extension Column (Black)

The Chief CMS009 is a 9 inch Speed-Connect fixed extension column that lets you lower a projector or flat-panel display to the perfect viewing height when a ceiling mount sits too high. It gives installers working in classrooms, conference rooms, retail spaces, or home theaters a direct way to achieve proper alignment without adding complex hardware.

The column is built from aluminum, providing strong support while keeping its own weight manageable. Despite its compact length, it carries up to 500 lbs, so even large displays or heavy projection equipment remain secure. Both ends feature standard 1.5 inch NPT threads, allowing quick attachment to any Chief ceiling plate or accessory and ensuring smooth integration with existing Chief components.

Cables route through the hollow interior and exit through a discreet port, which keeps wiring hidden and the finished installation clean. A black finish blends with most professional mounts and ceiling spaces, so attention stays on the screen rather than the hardware.
