Designer original silk cotton shift dress FIA New York

This is a designer original from 1990 Greenwich Village made by a New York designer called FIA. Palest pink cotton and lace shift dress with a separate pure silk shift to be worn over the top- can also be worn separately. Cost £400 in 1990. Unsized. Armpit to armpit measures 22 inches and length from shoulder level to hem at longest point is 45 inches. Some discolouration as pictured as it’s 35 years old but this is a truly extraordinary outfit. Comfortable natural fibres with a hint of Victorian glamour. I wore it as a size 12 teenager and it still works as a size 8 adult. Strapless bra or no bra preferable. A hint of Great Gatsby look about it as it’s a drop waist design. Stunning. I think the writers of SATC saw me wearing this in Central Park in 1990 and were inspired!!!
