Four Dogwood Fruit/Dessert (Sauce) Bowls, Roselyn China, Japan, Vintage, Retired

Offered are 4 berry bowls crafted by Roselyn China (Japan) in the Dogwood Pattern. This pattern is bold and vibrant with flowers and blossoms containing white, gray, and pink with green leaves on a brown sprig, all over pretty, white china that is finished with a gold trimmed rim. Replacements shows this pattern to be discontinued and dates production starting in 1959 but provides no end date.

Bowls measure approx. 5 ½” to the outside of the rim with height of about 1 3/8”. Diameter at the base is about 2 ½”. The bowls are in nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, stains, or crazing. Utensil marks are very light and only visible when turned to the light just so. There is minimal wear to the gold trim, which does not surprise given their assumed age.

These bowls would be a great addition to a Roselyn Dogwood collection or equally great included as part of a mix-and-match set. Just imagine how lovely they would look on a table next to a spray of fresh dogwood flowers.
