This was taken from a photograph of Ms. Kalhammers and reprinted with a current photograph of her.
Elizabeth Kalhammer never talked about her experiences for over 50 years and only started talking about it a couple years before her death in 2022 At the age of 99.
A letter was sent to her and she was nice enough to send this back with her autograph. Her nickname was Lizzy.
She actually stayed in Germany after the war and kept a low profile. Right after the war she did have a difficult time people were cruel to her but she managed to stay there throughout her lifetime.
