This large tole tray toleware is a historic piece from England, hand-painted in black and multi-colored with a Chippendale-shaped design. Made of tin and metal, this original decorative collectible dates back to the early 19th century, between 1830-1850. The intricate floral pattern and unique style make it a valuable addition to any collection or as a statement piece in a home decor setting.
This piece came out of an antebellum estate sale. Piece was dated back before the 1900's lost paper work from sale. Sale was in 1988. Friends mom had bought this and grandchildren didnt want. Southern Louisiana History piece.
