This is a fantastic very hard to find cookie jar. I’m not sure if it is truly McCoy, but that’s how it was sold to me. “311” are the numbers faintly appearing on the bottom. Someone at some point painted with a Silver marker along the bottom of the lid. It is not obvious and does not show when the lid is on. This is a fantastic yelloware piece, it just doesn’t match the rest of my collection so it doesn’t display well for me. My loss is your gain. I paid A LOT for it! It is approx 8 1/4 inches tall. Approx. 6 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. No chips or cracks but there are the normal flea bites on the bottom and glaze ‘pops’ here and there. Please make sure the condition and age of the piece are right for you before purchasing.
