This is a vintage 1954 Bulova mechanical set and Auto as well as manual wind wristwatch. It starts with a beautiful stainless steel case that has a polished wavey bezel holding a domed crystal that is scratch free. The dial has an inlaid grain coming from the center as rays. The dial has some patina with some thinning of lettering, however all marking remain. The watch is signed in 4 locations, the dial, crown, caseback and movement. The movement by Bulova is Swiss made and one of their premier offerings. The model 10BPAC has a high polished alloy finish with 23 jewels. It has been calibrated from all 6 positions. It has had a recent service and keeps decent time for a timepiece of 70 years. The band is a genuine USA made Spiedel that was advertised as a Twist-O-Flex. It is all stainless steel construction and is period correct. It was offered as an original replacement for the cheaper straps that came with new watches. The overall condition is like new with the exception of the dial.
