This is a light blue leather book style makeup compact. inside of a circle section displays a stunning bouquet of embroidered red roses with green stems and leaves. It is edged with a brass tone metal frame. A framed mirror has some desilvering but is intact. Opposite the mirror store 2 sections one with a red rouge barley used. The original cloth pad is in a second compartment with a small amount of pale powder. This piece is signed in cursive lettering Mondaine on the rouge brass side and New York USA to the right. This beauty survived nearly 100 years and is still usable. Some typical vintage wear. Exterior Wear, Mirror Wear And Cosmetics Have Been Used Over Time.
