This is a unique plaque made for a retired Detroit Police officer with his REAL badges set in resin on wood.
The named officer served from 1966-1992. The plaque has a nameplate inscribed with his name and dates of service.
The wood plaque measures about 10-1/4" tall × 8-3/4" wide. There is a little bit of normal wear to the finish.
The badges are sealed in resin. I do not know how easy they would be to remove from the plaque if someone decided to do that. These badges are not in use anymore and are obsolete.
