classic set. This set of floral Japanese tea cups saucers are made of translucent "eggshell" porcelain that glows when held up to the light. Like many Kutani pieces, these are decorated with red and gold hand painted scenes. Each saucer and cup features pink, mint and red floral motif. The borders are red, with gold detail embellishing the petals,and in decorative scroll on the rim.
Each saucers has hand painted Kutani branding, cups unmarked which is usually the case.
