The Sony SRGA40 is a 4K PTZ camera that uses a 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS sensor and built-in AI analytics to deliver video with sharp detail and professional framing, even when no operator is present. The AI engine recognizes a presenter, follows movement smoothly, and keeps the subject centered, while Clear Image Zoom preserves resolution all the way to 30x in 4K or 40x in HD.

Three framing modes—Full Body, Waist, and Close-Up—let you decide how much of the scene to show. A front tally lamp gives speakers an instant signal when the camera is live. High-speed pan and tilt motors, together with 256 preset positions, allow rapid angle changes from a control panel or over an IP network.

Installation is straightforward. An RJ45 port with PoE++ can handle power, video, and control through one cable, and both HDMI and SDI outputs are ready for local monitors or production switchers. Autofocus and automatic white balance adjust continuously, so images stay clear under changing light without manual intervention.
