This stunning vintage large sterling silver pendant is accentuated by Kingman Turquoise and coral. It has a classic Navajo design of leaf work, scrolls and silver beadwork with the main item a large 1 5/8" L x 5/8" W natural bear claw. The overall pendant top to bottom (including bale) is 2 1/2" L x 1 1/4" W. Stamped on the back Sterling and RB for Navajo artist Richard Begay.
The pendant has been hand cleaned and polished for a natural look. It has a new 31" brown braided leather cord that you can cut and knot to your desired length.
In the Navajo culture Bears are believed to be spiritual guides and represent strength and self-knowledge. They also believe they have great healing powers and that they are guardians of the West.
