This vibrant portrait was rendered in water-based ink using watercolor painting techniques. It was an experimental piece completed during a time of poor health for the artist. The painting depicts a tree-like organic structure sprouting from a woman's head as she reaches up with one had to grab it by the roots. It is a surreal depiction of what it's like to suffer from migraines. This is a one of a kind; No prints were produced of this piece.
