The Tripp Lite PDUMV20-ISO is a single-phase power distribution unit that delivers up to 1.92 kilowatts of 120-volt power to equipment in a rack, wall mount, or network closet. It carries 28 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets, so you can energize servers, switches, audio processors, security cameras, or any mix of gear that uses standard 15- or 20-amp plugs without adding extra power strips.
A built-in digital ammeter sits on the front panel and shows the live load for the entire strip. With this real-time reading, you know exactly when the circuit is nearing capacity and can shift devices before an overload trips the breaker or takes the rack offline.
Inside, Tripp Lite’s ISOBAR surge protection absorbs up to 3,840 joules while also filtering line noise. In practice, that means sensitive electronics stay shielded from voltage spikes caused by storms, nearby machinery, or routine power fluctuations. A resettable 20-amp circuit breaker adds a second layer of safety by cutting power if the draw ever exceeds safe limits.
Installation is straightforward. The 0U vertical form factor mounts to the rack rails without stealing precious rack space, and the included brackets support wall mounting when a rack is not available. A 15-foot cord with a locking L5-20P plug reaches distant outlets, and the supplied 5-20P adapter lets you connect the PDU to standard 20-amp receptacles found in many offices and data rooms.
The housing is made from aluminum and built for durability, so it stands up to daily use in busy IT closets, production studios, and field racks. If you manage power for a small server room, a surveillance system, or a mobile A/V rig, this PDU gives you high-density outlets, clear load visibility, and robust surge protection in one dependable unit.
