BEST pre-amp in this price range for your first professional home studio setup. NOTHING beats the sound of Vacuum Tube Mics/Pre-amps.. This Preamp will last forever with tube and fuse replacement every few years.
DISCLOSURE: The internal fuse is blown right now and needs to be replaced which is an extremely cheap and easy fix (unless you’re a hardware expert and can replace it yourself). I don’t live in a city so my only option was to mail it off to a stranger and have them fix it with no real guarantee on how long it would take or if I would even get it back. If you live in a city this will be an extremely easy fix, I’ll even reimburse you for the labor cost. However I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that while the repairman has the preamp opened replacing the fuse that you have the tubes replaced also. They only have a year or 2 left plus this thing will run like brand new if both are replaced
