Vintage Hand Carved Shell Cameo Brooch Pendant Left Facing Woman Sterling Silver 925
This is a lovely, deeply carved, shell cameo of a woman's profile in a soft cream color with a light brown background set high in a 925 solid sterling silver frame with bamboo and flowers design on outer edge. The side of the brooch is marked with “STERLING CR. CO.”.
The image and quality of the carving are beautiful and the oval pin / pendant for necklace (combination piece) is very eye-catching. It is 1.45” (36mm) high and 1.2” (30mm) wide and weighs 8.57 grams. It has a bail at the top that allows it to be also worn as a pendant.
In good pre-owned condition.
