Vintage handmade stoneware vase artisan textured teal turquoise rustic striped

This listing is for a gorgeous, earthy and rustic studio pottery vase. The form is hand built of what appear to be overlapping strips of textured slabs and it has a lot of character. The vessel is fairly heavy/sturdy and would be fully functional. It appears to have been made by a hobbyist, but one who has a great eye and ability to embrace the natural qualities of the clay medium. The surface treatment appears to be done with a couple of overlapping glazes as well as metallic oxides. The vase measures roughly 8 x 6 x 5 1/2". Good vintage condition, no post-production chips or cracks, just some manufacturing imperfections.
