Hobé renowned brand, crafted this brooch in the 1950s and 1960s. The back of the brooch bears a distinctive mark, “Hobe,” elegantly inscribed within an oval frame. This mark indicates that the brooch was produced between 1958 and 1983.
Hobe brooches are highly sought-after collectible pieces of vintage costume jewelry. Established in the United States in approximately 1927, the Hobé et Cie company, founded by William Hobe, brought his family’s expertise in jewelry-making from France to the US.
