Vintage Mid-Century Cheinco Metal Trash Can – Clock Design

This is a rare vintage mid-century Cheinco metal trash can featuring a unique and whimsical clock-themed design. Though it’s definitely seen better days, it still has a ton of character!

The can is heavily tarnished, bent, and worn in several areas (see photos), but you can still make out the original design in places — including a ship, a beautifully dressed lady, and a horse-drawn carriage. The main color was once a striking minty turquoise blue, with black showing through in spots due to age and wear.

Despite the wear, this piece has an awesome distressed vintage look and could make a great prop for Halloween, display piece, or still be used as a generously sized trash can.
