This coat was originally owned by a friend’s grandmother, and I can only guess its age, unfortunately. It has pockets and two rows of buttons—the bottom (functional) button is missing. Other than that, there are no flaws and absolutely holds up to wearing it around. It’s sort of a trench coat style, but swishier because of the fabric. It would make a really neat light jacket or a costume piece.
The size tag says 10 but it’s vintage—I currently wear a modern size 10 and it’s not impossible to wear (see last pic) but it’s a bit snug, and I don’t think I could wear it if I had on, like, a thick sweater as well.
The length from the top of the shoulder is about 42in. The narrowest part of the jacket when lying flat and buttoned is about 15.5in across. The sleeves are about 22.5in long from the shoulder seam.
