This vintage hand carved sea turtle is made of a very dark wood and has a lovely refined smooth finish.
It's quite large, measuring 8.5 inches long, 7.25 inches wide and *about* 3 inches tall. It weighs 2 pounds, 7 oz.
There are a couple od superficial flaws in the wood on the back of the shell. They could be scratches or just a flaws in the wood that was used or on it's creation. I have taken pictures!
